Had a very comfortable 1 night stay at Valie Hotel Hiroshima. the room had air conditioning and a television. Convenient location next to the loop bus stop and Hiroshima Castle. A cubical shrine was just 2 km away from the hotel. Didn't want to leave and would be happy to recommend.
